The anime film Trapeziumwhich premiered in Japan on May 10, 2024, is now officially streaming on Crunchyroll. CloverWorks, the studio behind works like SPY x FAMILY, My Dress-Up Darling, BOCCHI THE ROCKand Horimiaanimated the movie.

Synopsis

Trapezium follows high school student Yu Azuma, who is determined to become an idol. To achieve her goal, she avoids social media and relationships, instead focusing on assembling a group with three other girls from different areas of her prefecture. As she chases her dream, she faces challenges that test her commitment.

Based on the novel by Kazumi Takayama, a former Nogizaka46 member, the story was serialized in Kadokawa’s Da Vinci imprint from 2016 to 2018 before being adapted into a film. Crunchyroll also brought the movie to screens internationally for a one-day screening on September 18, 2024.
