Pokémon and LEGO Announce First-Ever Collaboration for 2026

The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company International have officially announced their first collaboration, which will be a new toy set set to release in 2026.

The Pokémon franchise, which is described as one of the most popular and enduring entertainment brands since its debut in 1996, will now be adapted into the LEGO form, giving fans the ability to build Pokémon characters and environments using the company’s signature bricks “brick by brick.”

While details on specific sets or themes have not yet been revealed, the partnership signals a big expansion of Pokémon’s physical toy offerings along with its upcoming first-ever collaboration with ONE PIECE.

Julia Goldin, Chief Product & Marketing Officer of the LEGO Group, highlighted the significance of the collaboration, stating: “We are thrilled to be working with a brand that has such a deep and passionate fanbase as Pokémon, partnering to give our joint audiences what they have been asking us for. Both companies have historically focused on creativity and interactive play, making the collaboration a logical next step. LEGO has previously produced sets based on other major entertainment franchises, including Star Wars, Harry Potterand Super Mariowhile Pokémon has seen success with its trading card game, video games, and toy lines.
