Secrets of the Silent Witch anime revealed a new trailer, additional cast, staff information, and a July 2025 release date at Anime Japan 2025. Shogo Sakata and Atsumi Tanezaki are joining the cast as Felix Arc Ridill and Isabelle Norton. Saya Aizawa, Hitomi Nabatame, and Junichi Suwabe were present at the anime’s stage event. Studio Gokumi is animating the series with Takaomi Kanazaki as the chief director, series composition writer, and scriptwriter. Yasuo Iwamoto is directing the series. Cona Nitanda is the character designer, and Rina Tayama is composing the music in Cygames.

The main cast was previously announced and includes:

• I am Aizawa as Monica Everett
• Hitomi Nabatame as Nero
• Judgy AS Louis Miller

Secrets of the Silent Witch anime is based on a light novel written by Matsuri Isora and illustrated by Nanna Fujimi. It was initially launched on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in February 2020. It was later acquired by Fujimi Shobo who began to publish it under their Kadokawa Books imprint in June 2021. A manga adaptation illustrated by Tobi Tana began serialization on Enterbrain’s B’s Log Comic manga website in July 2021.

Yen Press licensed both the Secrets of the Silent Witch light novel and manga in English, describing the story as follows:

Monica Everett, the Silent Witch, is the only mage in the world who can use unchanted magecraft, a true hero who singlehandedly defeated a legendary black dragon.
