‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess” Season 2 revealed a new visual, along with a January 2026 release date. The anime previously added Tamura Mutsumi to the voice cast in December 2024.

The first season of the anime premiered in January 2024 and ran for a total of 12 episodes. Studio Pine Jam handled the animation, with Yoko Kanamori as the director, Kazuyuki Fudeyazu handling the series composition, Satoshi Furuhashi and Toshiya Kono as character designers, and Masaru Yokoyama as the music composer. The main voice cast included:

• Haruka Shiraishi as Princess
• Chikahiro Kobayashi as Excalibur
• Shizuka Ito as Torture Tortura
• Tessho Genda as Hell-Lord

‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess (Hime-sama “Gomon” no Jikan desu) is a manga series written by Robinson Haruhara and illustrated by Hirakei. The series began serialization on the Shonen Jump+ website in April 2019. As of October 2024, it has been collected into sixteen volumes. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, and they describe the story:
As the war between the Imperial Army and Hellhorde rages on, the Princess, despite being armed with her mythical sword Excalibur, is captured and imprisoned. What kind of torture does she face at the hands of the chief demon interrogator? Fluffy fresh-baked toast! Hot, steaming ramen! Oh, the humanity!
