Duel Masters LOST Announces New Anime & Manga Following Gekka no Shinigami End

The Duel Masters LOST series is set to continue with a brand-new anime and manga installment titled Duel Masters LOST Bokyaku no Taiyo (Oblivion Sun). The announcement follows the conclusion of Duel Masters LOST Gekka no Shinigami (Death God of the Moonlight)which wrapped up its four-episode run in late February 2025.

What We Know So Far

Shogakukan has confirmed that the Oblivion Sun manga will debut in Spring 2025 on the Weekly CoroCoro Comic website. They also confirmed that an anime adaptation is in production, with no details on the staff or release date.

The Duel Masters LOST series is an alternative timeline within the Duel Masters universe. Unlike the main Duel Masters Win anime, which follows a more traditional structure, LOST explores a darker, more mature storyline.

The most recent installment, Gekka no Shinigamipremiered on December 21, 2024, exclusively on the franchise’s DuelTube YouTube channel. It served as a direct sequel to Duel Masters LOST: Tsuioku no Suisho (Crystal of Remembrance)with J.C.STAFF handling the animation production. The series starred Shotaro Uzawa as Win Kirifuda and Wataru Hatano as Abyssbell = Jashin Emperor (Jashin-kun), continuing their roles from previous Duel Masters LOST installments.

Both Tsuioku no Suisho and Gekka no Shinigami ran for four episodes each. With the announcement of Oblivion Sunit’s likely this format will continue, providing another short addition to the LOST timeline.
