
Classroom of the Elite Teases Year 3 With New Volume 1 Trailer
Classroom of the Elite Year 3 novel series has revealed a trailer narrated by Akari Kito, introducing the novel ahead of the release of Volume 1 on March 24. This will be the final year for Ayanokoji and his classmates, with some major changes in each of the classes.
Akari Kito voices Suzune Horikita in the anime adaptation, and she previously narrated a trailer for Year 2 as well. You can watch the new trailer below.

Shogo Kinugasa Wites the Classroom of the Elite light novels, with illustrations by Shunsaku Tomose. The novel was published from May 2015 to September 2019, while, the Classroom of the Elite Year 2 began in January 2020. There is an ongoing manga adaptation of Year 1 by Yuyu Ichino, while Hachi Komada draws the manga adaptation of the Year 2 sequel. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novel and manga adaptations in English.
The anime adaptation by Lerche has released 3 seasons between 2017 and March 2024. Season 4 is currently in production, with the studio not yet confirmed. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novel and manga adaptations in English, while Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.
The story follows the genius Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, who enrolled at a prestigious high school that has a 100% rate of its students going on to become successful. He aims to be as average as possible in the problematic Class 1-D, which is full of the school’s problem children. However, that obviously doesn’t go as planned, and he ends up leading his class to success.
